Have you been down Keeaumoku lately? Do you realize what’s happening? Three noodle shops have opened in the hood lately, with totally different noodles, their own quirks, and awesome cold dishes to beat this summer’s heat.
Don’t get me wrong — I didn’t go looking for chills. I scoped each restaurant for stuff that was popular, looked delish or set that place apart. In every case, the winner turned out to be cold noodles.
In every case, I’d also come in off sidewalks melting in the August heat. Coincidence? Perhaps. Who cares?
